Crafting Minimalist Luxury

The project began with a clear vision from a client named Rishan. They wanted to launch a high-end fashion brand that wasn't just limited to clothing, but extended into the world of luxury perfumes and accessories.
The name RSHN was born from the client's own name, stripping away two letters to create something strong and luxurious.
In the logo design phase, I focused on how to make a logo feel luxurious through its simplicity and elegance. I decided to lean into typography, experimenting with various letterforms and eventually landing on a serif style. I came up with 3 different directions.
The Vibe: High-fashion, artistic, and flowy
Design Detail: It features a sweeping stroke that mimics the movement of fabric or the trail of a scent.
The Vibe: Modern, layered, and confident
Design Detail: This version uses a stylized, layered 'R' that feels almost like a physical accessory.
The Vibe: Heritage and timeless luxury
Design Detail: A classic luxury approach with Baskerville Old Face. I experimented with mirroring and interlocking the 'R,' creating a symmetrical symbol. It has the weight and elegance required for a luxury brand.
After presenting the three directions, the client chose the Interlocking "R" concept.

The final result is a brand identity that doesn't just name the company. It tells a story of elegance and simplicity. From the initial process of creating the name "RSHN" to the final selection of a serif monogram, the process remained focused on one goal: creating a fashion brand that feels classic, elegant, and minimal.
